The doctoral load is documents
There are no exams to speak of at this level. What there is instead is a continuous stream of scholarly writing held to a higher bar than the master's: synthesis rather than review, methodological justification rather than description, and evaluation designs that a committee will actually interrogate. Doctoral faculty do not reward volume, they reward argument, and a paper that would have earned an A in an MSN course reads as thin in a DNP one.

The project sequence, phase by phase
The DNP project is not one purchase. It is a staged build, each phase approved before the next opens, and it is quoted and written the same way so the pace matches what your chair actually signs off. - Problem statement and practice gap, framed with the local data that justifies the project
- Literature synthesis: an actual search strategy, appraised evidence and a defensible synthesis rather than an annotated list

- Implementation plan with stakeholder and barrier analysis that survives a committee reading it
- Evaluation: measures, analysis approach and the honest limitations section that doctoral readers look for first

Practicum writing that runs alongside
Doctoral practicum courses generate their own paperwork: objectives, activity narratives, reflective analyses and progress reports mapped to competencies. The written pieces are in scope. Hours, logs, preceptor attestations and anything requiring a signature are not, and it is worth remembering that withdrawing from a graduate clinical or practicum course at Chamberlain records as a failing withdrawal rather than a clean one.
Where the desk stops on a doctoral project
The desk does not talk to your chair, does not join committee meetings, and does not sign anything. It does not fabricate data, invent a site, or produce results for an implementation that has not happened. What it produces is the writing around real work: your practice problem, your setting, your intervention, your numbers, put into doctoral form and defended properly.

Send the course, the phase you are in, your chair's feedback on the last submission and the rubric or project handbook section that governs the current deliverable. Questions students ask first
Can you write the whole project at once?
It would be a bad idea even if it were possible. Chairs approve phase by phase and often redirect the work between stages, so a complete project written in advance would be rewritten from the second approval onwards. Staged writing tracks the supervision you are actually under.
Do you work from my chair's feedback?
Send it verbatim. Committee feedback is the most valuable document in a doctoral order, because it tells the writer exactly which argument failed to land and with whom. Work revised against it is free, as with everything else here.
What about the data?
You supply it and it is used honestly. The desk will build the analysis narrative, the tables and the interpretation around real numbers from your site. It will not generate results, invent a sample or write up an implementation that did not take place.
Are the doctoral coursework classes covered as well as the project?

Who writes at this level?
